The video identification solution, which was designed in close cooperation, takes only a few minutes. The completely digitalized identification process replaces the previous paper-based practice. The technology used for the identification process comes from IDnow, the leading German provider of identification solutions.

Approved by FINMA

In March 2016, the Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA approved video identification in its circular. Following in the footsteps of renowned clients such as Bob Finance of the Valora Group and VZ Vermögensbank, Intrum Justitia is consistently pushing ahead with the digitalization of identification options. Encrypted and secure data transmission is guaranteed at all times - and the legal requirements for data security and data protection in Switzerland are met.

Simple & fast

Thanks to its collaboration with Intrum Justitia, Aargauische Kantonalbank offers its customers a convenient identification process via computer, tablet or smartphone - from the comfort of their sofa at home - in just a few minutes. Thanks to the live video connection with the expert, customers only need an end device with a camera. The identification process is based on two steps:

  1. Image creation of applicant/ID card
  2. personal identification via software

Reachable for longer

Thanks to the new digital collaboration with Intrum Justitia, Aargauische Kantonalbank can offer its customers longer opening hours than usual at its call center in Switzerland. This means that interested customers can enjoy a comprehensive service - beyond the usual counter opening hours. The new opening hours are: Monday to Saturday ( 07:00 to 22:00 ).

Thomas Hutter, Managing Director of Intrum Justitia, sees the future in video identification: "The cooperation with Aargauische Kantonalbank is exactly in line with our digital strategy. We offer comprehensive and innovative solutions that save our clients costs while increasing convenience for their end customers."
