University of Liechtenstein leads in education ranking

The University of Liechtenstein has come out on top as the best university and with the Master in Entrepreneurship and Management degree programme. The comparison platform eduwo surveyed almost 6,000 students for this year's education ranking.

The University of Liechtenstein has been able to assert itself as the best university. The factors lecturers/teachers, equipment of the school, organisation of the school, framework offer/environment and teaching content as well as the recommendation rate were used for the evaluation. "It is great that our students recognise the personal support, the excellent education, the human interaction and the room for development as distinctive strengths and also recommend them to others," Ulrike Baumöl, Rector of the University of Liechtenstein, is quoted as saying.

In addition, for the first time, the best study and training courses were awarded. The University of Liechtenstein came out on top in the Master's category with its Master's in Entrepreneurship and Management. Second place also went to Vaduz with its Architecture degree programme. In the Bachelor's category, the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil (HSR) was victorious with its degree programme in Computer Science. The University of Liechtenstein came third here with its Bachelor in Architecture. The HSR has also been named the best university of applied sciences. The Swiss Hotel Management School Lucerne (SHL) has been voted the best institution for higher vocational education. It also achieved the best result in the HF course category with its Dipl. Hôtelière-Restauratrice/Hôtelier-Restaurateur HF course. The institute Unterstrass at the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH) has been voted the best university of education.

Among the most popular majors, art, music and design received the best average score of 4.28 and engineering received the highest recommendation rate of 96.4 percent.

The eduwo platform provides future students with testimonials from current and former students.
