Technology will never develop as slowly as it does today

Humanity has a problem. Nowadays, technologies are changing so quickly that many people feel overwhelmed by them. The reason: for thousands of years, progress was linear - the world hardly changed for generations. Nowadays, however, everything is developing at an exponentially increasing pace. The human brain is not used to this speed. Or not yet?
