Elisabetta Carrea has been appointed CEO of Swiss Safety Center AG by the Board of Directors with effect from 1 January 2021, the company announced today. She will take over the overall management of the company with immediate effect and succeed Raffael Schubiger.

Schubiger, Director of the SVTI, is to become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Safety Center AG and will in future concentrate on the strategic management and orientation of the group of companies, consisting of the SVTI Swiss Association for Technical Inspections and Swiss Safety Center AG.

With Swiss Safety Center AG since 2018

Elisabetta Carrea joined Swiss Safety Center AG in March 2018 and successfully managed the Expertise Services business unit with its services and qualifications in the areas of fire protection, environmental safety, occupational safety and integral risk management. The process engineer with a doctorate has, among other things, many years of experience as a project manager and in personnel management in plant construction and in the energy sector at Swiss as well as international groups. The focus of her new role will be on employees, market growth and innovations in connection with digitalisation and Industry 4.0, the media release concludes.
