SWISS LABEL: symbolic milestone of 1000 members reached

SWISS LABEL, the society for the promotion of Swiss products and services, has been on the upswing since 2018 with 95 new members and has reached the symbolic milestone of 1000 members. Swiss quality, reliability and a clear indication of origin: SWISS LABEL is committed to these typically Swiss values.

SWISS LABEL, the society for the promotion of Swiss products and services, is an association according to article 60ff of the Swiss Civil Code. SWISS LABEL is concerned in the broadest sense with brand and label management. 

Annual General Meeting with record

The re-election of National Councillor Sylvia Flückiger-Bäni to the Board and the celebration of the 1000th member, Porta AG, were the highlights of the General Assembly, which was attended by many participants at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern today. The President also paid tribute to Jacques Vifian, who has been a member of the Board since 2003 and has reached the 16-year term of office stipulated in the statutes. After lunch, Hans-Ulrich Bigler, National Councillor and Director of the sgv, addressed the audience with a message of greeting.

The General Assembly, chaired by former National Councillor Ruedi Lustenberger, quickly settled the statutory matters. At the end of 2018, SWISS LABEL had 996 members, mainly small and medium-sized enterprises from a wide range of industries and regions in our country; from the beginning of January to the end of May 2019, almost 30 new members have already joined. Hélène Noirjean, Managing Director, is confident about the future.

As of this year, SWISS LABEL is also represented in the social networks. The crossbow lives. Long live the crossbow!
