Sleepiz sleep monitoring system wins Digital Health Award

The young company Sleepiz based in Zurich, has been awarded a new Digital Health Prize for start-ups. At the symposium "Digital Health - the future is now" at the Cantonal Hospital St.Gallen (KSSG) Sleepiz was able to convince the jury as well as the audience. That shares startupticker.ch now. Versatile support 

Its sleep monitoring solution measures vital parameters such as respiration, heart rate and movement without contact and in accordance with medical quality requirements. No electrodes, cables or cameras are used. This allows sleep disorders to be monitored at home. Sleepiz has already passed through several pilot studies and won several awards. The company has already received support from the EU programme Horizon 2020 and from Innosuisse received.

A total of six start-ups were in competition at the symposium in St.Gallen. According to the press release, they "impressively demonstrated the strength of the regional innovative power. According to jury member and head physician Martin Brutsche, this prize will also be awarded in the coming years. "By awarding the 'Digital Health-Vadian' we want to help promote and drive forward innovative ideas on the subject of digital health.
