Multi-part event series for precision manufacturing
For companies, the digital transformation and ever new findings in research mean that innovation is largely determined by how and how intensively the specialist areas work together. With the new "Networking Event Series - Future of Precision Manufacturing", RhySearch is strengthening collaboration between business and research around the topic of "precision manufacturing".
The series of events starts on 29 June in the afternoon with the topic "Modern manufacturing between day-to-day business and the megatrend of digitalisation". The Rhine Valley Research and Innovation Centre (RhySearch) has been able to attract proven experts from business and research.
"At least as important as providing insights into current trends and developments in precision manufacturing, however, is for us to network the participants with each other. That's why workshops on various topics are planned, which will also be followed up afterwards," explains Bärbel Selm, Head of Network and Innovation. The overriding goal of the event series is to establish a lively network for precision manufacturing in the region over the next few years.
The RhySearch team was particularly pleased that, thanks to the federal government's relaxed Corona measures, the event could be held on site at the OST Ostschweizer Fachhochschule in Buchs - naturally in compliance with the current protection concept.
Thanks to support from Innosuisse, the Swiss Agency for the Promotion of Innovation, and sponsors, the event can be offered free of charge to participants.
