ISO Survey 2015

The just released ISO Survey with the 2015 surveys show a worldwide increase in certifications in ISO Management by System Standards.

According to the ISO Survey 2015, a total of 1,519,951 valid certificates were confirmed, which were collected from the nine official management system standards worldwide. Compared to 1,476,504 surveys in the previous year, this represents an increase of 3 percent.

The most widely used standards - ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management - have achieved popular status with 1,033,936 and 319,324 certificates respectively.

In 2016, the ISO Survey is supplemented by ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011, by the "Information Technology - Service management - Part 1" standard. This is about service management and system requirements. This standard was recommended by international accreditation and certification experts.

In general, the current survey represents an understandable overview of the currently most important standards. "ISO itself does not collect concrete certifications. For this reason, all results of this survey are subject to the world's leading certification bodies", it is explicitly stated in the summary.
