Innovation Qualité: The prize for quality pioneers
Innovation Qualité is an attribute for progressiveness and practice - qualities that count especially in the Swiss healthcare system. The new award of the Swiss Academy for Quality in Medicine (SAQM) aims to promote innovative ideas of committed pioneers. The call for entries runs until 8 December 2017.
Innovation Qualité revolves around the question of how quality in healthcare can be improved even further? The future winners of Innovation Qualité know. Patients, health professionals and the general public should benefit from their experiences and successes. With this goal in mind, the SAQM wants to honour pioneering achievements in quality work in the healthcare sector and stimulate professional discussion.
Whether you are a doctor, nurse, midwife, rehabilitation manager or IT manager, anyone who works in the Swiss healthcare sector and has led an innovative quality project to success should enter it for the Innovation Qualité 2018. There are three award categories:
- Patient care rethought - endowed with 15ʹ000 francs
- Patient Safety - endowed with 15ʹ000 francs
- Medical organizations - endowed with 10ʹ000 francs
The categories A new approach to patient care and Patient Safety are open to professionals from the entire healthcare sector. The category Medical organizations is intended to motivate professional medical associations to submit their quality projects.
The SAQM is looking forward to receiving numerous project submissions by 8 December 2017. From team-internal to cross-institutional, any project that effectively improves quality in healthcare is welcome.
