High distinction for the University of St. Gallen: This year's result "underscores the truly remarkable efforts that the members of our University make every day in research, teaching and services to ensure that the HSG is one of the best in the world," says Rector Dr. Thomas Bieger. As a public institution, the HSG is able to offer a top-quality education, for which many students abroad have to pay horrendous fees at private universities.

1st place in individual ranking

In the annual European Business Schools Ranking of the "Financial Times", the University of St.Gallen (HSG) took fourth place, as in the previous year. This makes the HSG the best-ranked public university in this ranking and the highest ranking university in the entire German-speaking region. The ranking of the international business newspaper is considered the most important for European business universities.

The HSG owes its top ranking among the 95 best European business universities to its broad and high-quality program portfolio. In the individual ranking for Master's programs in Management, the University of St.Gallen has been ranked number one worldwide without interruption since 2011 with its "Master in Strategy and International Management".

In addition, the HSG has consistently achieved strong positions in the individual rankings for MBA, Executive MBA and open and company-specific continuing education programs over the past years.

Further goals of the "School of Management

Prof. Winfried Ruigrok is quoted as saying that the HSG must "permanently renew the content of its continuing education programs and continually develop our teaching methods in order to defend our strong position internationally as well. He is Dean of the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES-HSG) and delegate of the HSG Rectorate for University Development and Continuing Education.

In 1st place in the ranking is the HEC Paris before the London Business School and the University of Economics Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
