Edgar Lehrmann appointed as new Chief Financial Officer of SPIE Switzerland

SPIE Switzerland, a subsidiary of the SPIE Group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services for energy and communications, has appointed Edgar Lehrmann as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 October 2019.

Edgar Lehrmann (49) studied business administration at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. For seven years he worked for the global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney in Düsseldorf and Munich as a consultant in various industrial and banking sectors.

In 2003, he joined ATEL in Switzerland, where he initially headed the Credit and Business Risk Management department. Shortly thereafter, he was tasked with setting up the shared service centers for the Group's key operational finance and support functions in the Czech Republic.

Since 2011, Edgar Lehrmann has held various management positions in Alpiq's finance division, most recently as Head of Group Accounting & Controlling and Deputy CFO, where, in addition to his operational responsibilities, he was also involved in the development of strategic projects to reposition the Group "In Edgar Lehrmann, we welcome a highly experienced CFO who knows our business very well and has a strong affinity for strengthening cooperation at European level within the Group," explains Pierre Savoy, CEO of SPIE Switzerland.

The previous CFO, Michael Suderow, is leaving the company at his own request to take up a new challenge. The management thanks Michael Suderow for his professional and dedicated service and wishes him all the best and much success for his private and professional future.
