Digitisation of legal work
The Baloise Group Legal Service is digitising its work processes. The Baloise Legal and Tax department is now using the new legal search engine "Lawsearch Enterprise". The lawyers and tax specialists can use it to find all the information they need: Internal documents and dossiers from the CRM and ERP system Vertec used as a dossier management system, as well as legal texts and court decisions.
"Single Point of Search" instead of bookshelves: The lawyers and tax specialists at Basler Versicherung AG benefit from the digitalization of legal work. The use of a "single point of search" for all legal information speeds up daily work, increases efficiency and saves valuable time. Employees are freed from frustrating search work and can concentrate on their intellectual tasks. In this way, digitalisation supports lawyers and increases job satisfaction immensely.
The Law and Taxes department uses the latest version 3 of the search engine. The Lawsearch Enterprise version 3 brings a facet search with graphical filters and personalized search functionalities. It links all internal data sources (e.g. the Windows filing system, sample documents, e-mails, etc.) and can also search the most important legal documents from the Internet (e.g. federal and cantonal laws and court decisions).
Integrated systems
The Lawsearch Version 3 search engine can also be integrated with other internal systems (e.g. case, dossier and transaction management). At Basler Versicherung AG, for example, the search is integrated with the Vertec CRM & ERP system. The information from Vertec as well as the stored documents are directly searchable.
