Merger of Infoniqa SQL AG with Hirt Informatik AG
Infoniqa SQL has completed the merger with Hirt Informatik and will have completed the integration of the company into Infoniqa by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
By bringing together complementary technologies and product platforms, Infoniqa SQL further strengthens its leadership position as a Swiss IT integrator focused on storage management, backup and archiving, and data center solutions. With this merger, Infoniqa can now also offer its customers managed and cloud services with a focus on backup, disaster recovery, infrastructure and security.
Outlook 2017
The company estimates that the merger will generate sales of CHF 50 million. All Hirt Informatik employees will be employed in the new organization. The Zurich location will remain. The integration will be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017 at the latest and the company will appear on the Swiss market under the name Infoniqa in the medium term. Even in the association with Hirt Informatik, Infoniqa SQL will continue to place great emphasis on service-oriented performance and individual support for its customers.
It will thus become an even more powerful partner for the efficient and cost-effective introduction of software and system solutions throughout Switzerland. In recent years, Hirt Informatik has developed into a leading IT service provider and supports its customers with intelligent solutions in the area of data management and IT infrastructure; with a focus on Dell EMC and with an emphasis on managed services and hosting in the areas of backup, disaster recovery infrastructure and security. The solutions contribute significantly to increasing efficiency, ensuring business continuity and expanding the availability of resources.
The company's existing customers will continue to be advised by their trusted partners, who will now be able to use additional resources of the Infoniqa network.
