Kaltura, the leading video technology provider, and SWISS TXT, the subsidiary of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation SRG, are offering a European Kaltura video platform as part of a new partnership. Thanks to this, customers can host their data in Europe and comply with EU data protection regulations. The Media Cloud's state-of-the-art data centers are located in Switzerland and comply with all EU data protection and privacy regulations.

Redundant technology

The joint offering is based on Kaltura's award-winning technology and SWISS TXT's state-of-the-art private media cloud infrastructure. The platform is operated in two data centers located in Switzerland and compatible with EU security regulations, fully redundant and fail-safe.

In addition, the solution is fully scalable and can host several thousand virtual servers and petabytes of data volume. The direct Internet peering bandwidth is 30Gbit/s and can be easily integrated with well-known CDNs such as Akamai. Multilingual technical support is available seven days a week, around the clock.

SBB is one of the first customers

One of the first customers to benefit from the collaboration is SBB, which offers its 33,000 employees a flexible corporate video solution for desktop and mobile devices. The challenge here was to keep the existing publishing processes as unchanged as possible.
