Products, solutions and services in the field of low voltage have been part of Schneider Electric's core competence for decades, making the company one of the global market leaders. The Internet of Things, Big Data and connectivity are currently revolutionizing power distribution.

New approaches are therefore in demand. In Switzerland, Schneider Electric is taking this development into account. The company is investing in this dynamic business and is reorganizing the corresponding "Partner Projects Switzerland" business unit. Bernhard Kiechl, 37, has been appointed head of this department with immediate effect.

Innovative low-voltage solutions

With the reorganization of the business unit, Schneider Electric Switzerland is emphasizing the importance of new low-voltage solutions for end customers and partners alike. In addition, the company is creating a new quality of support for switchgear manufacturers.

"Wherever low-voltage solutions are required, our customers receive innovative solutions from a single source," says Bernhard Kiechl.

The new Vice President Business Unit Partner Projects Switzerland has more than 10 years of experience in sales, product marketing and development. Kiechl started his career in 2005 at Gutor Electronic LLC, which belongs to the Schneider Electric Group. Among other things, he was Engineering Manager for the EMEA region and Area Sales Manager in the United Kingdom.

Since 2013, he has been Director of Industrial UPS Solutions and in this role has, among other things, driven the integration of Schneider Electric's low-voltage products. An electrical engineer by training, he holds an EMBA in Business Management.
