Universal Global's latest study reveals some interesting student preferences: Management and Strategy Consulting and Banks and Financial Services are high preference industries among business students. Media and advertising as well as the automotive industry are also popular industries among business students. The latter is also popular in neighboring Germany and Austria.

Banks, however, have lost some of their popularity among business students since last year - not so in Switzerland. Here, young economists still want to work at banks.

Engineering and IT students most want to work in Engineering & Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence and Software & Computer Services. Energy has lost some of its popularity since last year.
