Energy management in one platform

Through the targeted connection and combination of data from energy plants, buildings, production and weather services, previously unused potential in energy management can be tapped.

in-integrierte informationssysteme GmbH shows how energy management can create the basis for peak load avoidance and other optimizations. In conjunction with the BMWi funding project "SmartEnergyHub", new types of smart services for energy optimization are currently being developed.

"sphinx open online"

sphinx open online is used for the visualization of data and statuses, the connection of any data sources and the integration of additional digital services. The IoT platform has already proven itself in various application areas such as security, facility and energy management and Industry 4.0.

The simple, comprehensive combination of data opens up a wide range of applications. This enables remote monitoring, intervention and optimization of properties, plants and objects: in 2D and 3D at the control station as well as on mobile devices. The platform can combine real-time information, for example from energy systems, building and production control systems, process it for monitoring and make it available for further services.

In addition to the visualization of complex interrelationships and operating options for different user groups, not only monitoring functions but also automated control interventions become possible. Intelligent services from other partners can access the existing data pool via open interfaces and thus enable value-adding digital services such as analysis, prediction, optimization and automation.

Lighthouse project: "SmartEnergyHub

A lighthouse project in this environment is the BMWi-funded research project "SmartEnergyHub", a smart data platform for energy management. The aim of the project is to make the growth market of big data more accessible to the German economy. In the extraction of relevant sensor data from energy supply, environment and buildings as well as the central fast processing up to visualization and operator intervention, in-GmbH as a partner develops essential key technologies for this project.

All in all, "sphinx open online" supports the optimisation of consumption in the energy sector, the minimisation of service costs and helps to avoid downtimes. This enables new business models and digital value creation (smart services) for customers.
