The airfreight division of Dachser Spedition AG Switzerland now also meets the requirements of the IFS Logistics standard for foodstuffs. Due to the excellent audit result, the
Examination passed with "Higher Level". The Sea Freight Export Full Container Load division was already certified according to IFS Logistics in 2016 and has been re-certified annually since then (always with the result "Higher Level").

As a uniform audit standard based on a homogeneous evaluation system, IFS Logistics establishes the comparability and transparency of processes in transport chains in the food industry and supplier industry.

With the IFS certificate of competence, the highest quality and food safety are guaranteed throughout from production to the customer, "end-to-end". With the certificate, the logistics provider can offer its customers from the food and supply industry as well as retailers real added value by meeting the highest requirements in terms of quality, safety and legal compliance, even in overseas business.

The bar for quality in the food industry is very high. From cultivation and production to trade and consumer, numerous national and international guidelines must be adhered to. Industry and trade therefore also expect high quality and hygiene standards from their logistics partner and strengthen their own brand profile if the partner is certified accordingly.

IFS Logistics

IFS Logistics creates transparency while taking into account the legal requirements for food. It guarantees safety and preservation of product quality during transport. Another focal point of quality management is the requirement criteria for HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and Food Defense, which are implemented on the basis of an extensive risk analysis. As part of its sustainable and targeted market positioning, Dachser operates a sophisticated quality management system (QMS) in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2008, which integrates the requirements and risk assessments according to HACCP as well as the strict requirements according to IFS Logistics 2.1, to which Dachser Food Logistics has been certified since 2007. In addition, the company is certified as an AEO (Authorized Economic Operator).
