PostMail wins the EFQM Global Excellence Silver Award!

After the title for the "best mail in the world" and the "Innovation Award from PostEurop", PostMail wins the "EFQM Global Excellence Silver Award" - a very significant award for corporate quality.

An EFQM Global Excellence Award at the first attempt. PostMail achieves something that no one else has done before it. Achieving this award is a great achievement. "We can be enormously proud of this award. The hard work has paid off," says project manager Marco Schöpf.

Nine assessors from various European countries carried out a comprehensive audit of PostMail in May 2019. The three major mail centres Zurich-Mülligen, Härkingen and Eclépens were visited, as well as two delivery points and the headquarters in Espace. In total, over 200 people were questioned in 46 interviews or interview groups. But winning the silver award requires the entire company to work together, as Marco Schöpf confirms: "The processes within Swiss Post are interlinked at the highest level. It is confirmation that we work in an exemplary and customer-oriented manner across a wide range of areas." Only in this way was it possible for Swiss Post to win this important prize for corporate quality, which is awarded worldwide, after coming first in the UPU rankings.

Although the EFQM Global Excellence Silver Award may seem a little abstract at first, a closer look reveals the value for the company and its customers. Year after year, Swiss Post delivers its letters on time with a top score, its delivery staff receive top marks and, thanks to process optimisations, the company remains a top performer in spite of the economic crisis.
