Software with new component for audit findings

With Software Update 12.0, Quentic introduces a new component for more flexible audit management. With findings, a transparent separation of audit execution and the implementation of findings and corrective actions after the walk-through is enabled.

Quentic, the Berlin-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for occupational safety, environmental and sustainability management, is strengthening its occupational safety and audit management applications in particular with version 12.0 of its software. The core feature of the update is a new module component that offers more flexibility and process conformity for different audit situations, as well as the introduction of expanded options for data integration with Quentic Connect. The modules Occupational safety and Hazardous substances, as well as the Quentic App and Quentic Community received content updates and optimized usability.

Powerful audit management with findings

Even though auditors are responsible for planning and conducting inspections, they are not always involved in evaluating the results or deriving measures. If these responsibilities are clearly separated from each other, this is now done with the help of the new component Findings is mapped in Quentic in an equally transparent and process-compliant manner.

Users decide whether an audit is performed according to the compact scheme already available in Quentic, or whether it provides for findings. The latter activates the separation of audit and task responsibilities. Auditors take over the planning, execution and documentation of audits, but follow-up, deeper root cause analysis and implementation of measures are the responsibility of local management, which in turn can delegate tasks to specialists within the organization.

The clear distribution of tasks within the process and the consistent data management provided by the Quentic platform ensure increased transparency and traceability for all parties involved throughout the entire audit process.

Optimized data integration

Quentic 12.0 also offers more opportunities to integrate existing processes, tools and data. Synergies are created by connecting the platform to interfaces with other software solutions that provide organizational or HSE data to Quentic applications. Recent enhancements include application-ready standard flows for popular business intelligence solutions that allow for the expansion of management dashboards, as well as the adoption of Enhesa ScoreCards incl. measure mapping for the module legal compliance.

Quentic at the A+A

Quentic will present the most important release updates at booth E12 in hall 6 at A+A in Düsseldorf (November 5-8, 2019), the largest international trade fair for safety & health at work. In addition, presentations on perspectives in digital HSE management will take place as part of the daily stand program. From Tuesday to Thursday at 11:00 a.m. each day, Dr. Mario Lenz, CPO at Quentic, will provide an outlook on how digital assistants can support occupational safety in the near future. Quentic partner Enhesa will be a co-exhibitor at the Quentic stand for the entire duration of the trade fair, while other partners such as TÜV Nord Systems and Arqus Ingenieurbüro will be on site on selected days.
