Brainloop AG certified according to ISAE 3402 Type II
Brainloop AG, specializing in cloud-based solutions, is now certified according to the requirements of the international ISAE-3402 standard Type II. The report, prepared by an independent auditor, certifies that the service organization around the SaaS platforms for document management and collaboration is also suitable for highly regulated industries.
Brainloop AG stands for secure services. ISAE stands for International Standards for Assurance Engagements. This standard is binding for all companies that deal with international accounting regulations - above all banks and insurance companies. If such companies delegate business-critical tasks to a service provider, the latter must meet the high regulatory requirements, which it can prove with an ISAE 3402 report.
The financial market supervisory authority BaFIN also formulates comparable requirements within the MaRisk guideline.
Compliance with FINMA criteria in Switzerland
Based on the ISAE report, Brainloop has also received confirmation of compliance with FINMA criteria for outsourcing by banks. The auditors of BDO Switzerland confirm that Brainloop services comply with the regulations for the Swiss financial sector.

As part of the certification process, Brainloop optimized its internal control system based on the international COBIT framework and adapted it to ISAE requirements. The independent auditors from Ebner Stolz then reviewed the effectiveness of the system and presented their findings in a report. This is available to Brainloop customers on request.
