Stefan Güldenberg in the Presidium of the European Academy of Management (EURAM)

Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg was elected to the Presidium of the European Academy of Management (EURAM) at the annual conference held in Glasgow/Scotland at the end of June. The holder of the Chair of International Management at the Institute of Entrepreneurship at the University of Liechtenstein is delighted to have been elected to this prestigious board.

The appointment of Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg can be seen as a great recognition and contributes to further enhancing the reputation of the University of Liechtenstein within the European university landscape. During his three-year term of office, Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg will mainly dedicate himself to strengthening exchange and cooperation between management research and management practice in Europe. In addition, he will intensify contacts at the political level between EURAM and the EU.

The European Academy of Management

The European Academy of Management (EURAM) is the scientific association for university professors in the field of management in Europe. It is made up of more than 1000 members in 49 countries and has set itself the goal of promoting the development of management teaching as a university discipline in Europe. This is done, among other things, in twelve thematic expert groups, the so-called Special Interest Groups, in intensive exchange with the EU and business representatives as well as international and national scientific associations and institutions, as well as through the promotion of young academics and the publication of its own scientific journal (European Management Review).

Professor for Management Research   

Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg has already made a strong mark in international management research in recent years with numerous publications and several awards, and has repeatedly and critically called for greater practical relevance in university management research, which ultimately led to his election to this prestigious presidency.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg has been at the University of Liechtenstein since 2007. He holds the Chair of International Management at the Institute of Entrepreneurship, is Chairman of the Senate, Head of Continuing Education Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of the MBA Technology & Innovation programme. In 2013, he organised with great success the EURAM Early Career Colloquium (EECC) in Liechtenstein, EURAM's central event for promising young academics.
