ScientificAward: Papers on IMS wanted

Already for the 4th time ConSense GmbH announces its ScientificAward. We are looking for theses that deal with topics around accepted and living integrated management systems (IMS) of the future.

The ConSense ScientificAward is aimed interdisciplinary at young scientists who deal in their work with issues around living and accepted management systems and have developed new approaches for quality management and integrated management of the future, as ConSense GmbH writes. In addition to quality management, the following topics may be addressed in the context of integrated management systems: process management, key figures, qualification, training, knowledge, data protection or risk management.

The best work beckons according to the Aachen software house prize money of 1,000 euros. The winner will also have the opportunity to present the winning work in April 2022 at the virtual trade fair ConSense Expo about QM and IMS to the professional audience and to network with QM experts.

Composition of the jury

The jury of the fourth call is composed of the following persons: Prof. Dr. Jan Mendling from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and Chairman of the Society for Process Management, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Rosenbaum from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences and Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Sommerhoff, Head of Innovation and Transformation at the German Society for Quality (DGQ).

The evaluation criteria include innovation potential, theory, realism, benefit to the field, environment and society, cost-effectiveness and the form of presentation.

Until 16 January 2022 can submit a thesis (in German or English) for a Bachelor's, Master's, Diplom-Ingenieurs, Doctorate or MBA in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

The ScientificAward has been presented by Softwarehouse ConSense GmbH since 2016. Iris Bruns from the management emphasizes: "The promotion of the next generations in quality management and the future-oriented support of the entire industry are very close to our hearts. Fresh theoretical approaches and new ways of thinking are in demand and will contribute to management systems being even more accepted and truly lived in companies in the future."
