Digitalization is advancing rapidly and also has its downside: No company is protected from a cyberattack anymore. Just one wrong click in an email can damage a company's entire IT system or block access to its systems. It is estimated that one in three SMEs has already been hacked. Often the IT systems are not sufficiently protected against cyber attacks, as the interest and professional association for SMEs, the self-employed and executives writes. The SKV therefore offers a new cyber insurance.

Three variants

With the SKV's cyber insurance - in partnership with Basler Versicherungen - self-employed persons and SMEs have the option of selecting the right cover for them from three pre-configured packages and taking out the insurance online.

  • ECO variant: For companies that want to continue working despite a cyberattack and not suffer a standstill.
  • Variant SMARTFor companies that also wish to insure the loss of turnover of the business.
  • Variant TOP: For businesses that want to insure cyber extortion in addition to loss repair and loss of revenue.

More detailed information is available on the SKV website available.
